I came across a book in an antique store titled "New Trails" last year (hence the name of the font). No idea what the book was about, but the type was sweet so I decided to take a stab at bringing it to life. I ended up making some adjustments that kept its original calligraphic tone while modernizing the characters with shape and geometry.
